Mr. Jerry Klein, Founder and President of The Chatham Group, has over 25 years experience in management, engineering and marketing in high-technology companies. He has extensive experience in advising companies, venture capital funds and law firms in technology related business, engineering and legal issues. He founded Ansonics/Ansafone in 1967 and served as its President until its acquisition by Dictaphone Corporation in 1970. While Vice-President and General Manager of Dictaphone's Telecommunication Division, he was a key member of the Federal Communications Commission subcommittee on Interconnection and Deregulation and served as an industry expert witness in the deregulation hearings on the telephone industry. At Exxon Enterprises he was a member of the team that developed the world's first electronic typewriter/ desktop word processor. He was also CEO of an advanced printer development company, Director of a speech recognition company and Group Executive of several advanced technology components and system companies.

Mr. Klein was also a cofounder and Vice-President of Cygnet Technologies, an early leader in integrated voice/data workstations and networking. He has extensive experience in the litigation of intellectual property and technology related matters. He has been a frequent guest speaker on high-technology issues, and is a member of IEEE, PATCA, ACM, The Internet Society, the Intellectual Property Section of the California Bar Association and is a coholder of several patents. He holds a B.S.M.E.,cum laude, from the University of Southern California and was elected to Tau Beta Pi, Pi Tau Sigma, and was awarded the Garrett Corporation Scholarship, and the USC General Alumni Scholarship. He has done graduate work in engineering, business, and law. Mr. Klein is admitted to Practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office as a Registered Patent Agent.
